At Malverde, we believe that the best outcomes can be achieved by combining a deep understanding of a topic with a willingness to innovate and challenge the status quo.
Fraud & Financial Crime
Complying with financial crime regulation is not only expensive, it also does little to reduce financial crime. At Malverde, we’re convinced there is a better way - by aligning technology and operations with risk, financial institutions can be more effective and efficient at reducing financial crime.
We’re on a mission to help the industry have a greater impact on preventing financial crime whilst reducing cost. We help financial institutions to:
Truly understand financial crime risks – i.e. how financial crime is carried out through their organisations, rather than the risks of non-compliance
Ensure that technology and operations is fully aligned with these risks so that they effectively mitigate them without creating excessive waste
Data & Analytics
Data is everything. Yet businesses regularly suffer from critical issues in compliance, customer experience and elsewhere as a result of failings in data. Poorly designed data pipelines, inaccurate models and opaque processes are commonplace. We believe true understanding of data is fundamental to almost all business applications, but that this understanding is surprisingly rare.
Our co-founders all started their careers in data, which has underpinned the work they’ve done across various domains and sectors. Doing data well revolutionises businesses.
We started Malverde to make true expertise on data and financial crime readily accessible to our clients.
